How Can You Get More Feedback?

Real estate agents are always anxious to get feedback on showings, yet often the process is tedious and time consuming, requiring individual emails and/or phone calls. If you have a listing that's had 20-30 showings, multiplied by 3-4 listings, that's a lot of work. In fact, that means contacting about 80 agents individually. How would you tackle this?

A batch of feedback we received this week at ShowingTime, submitted electronically (in seconds) by our customers, got us thinking that it's worthwhile to talk about how real estate agents can benefit from automating the process. It might be very valuable to talk to each of those 80 agents, but it also might take you - and them - away from focusing on other productive tasks.

Post-Call Survey
Customers call in to ShowingTime Tech Support every day to get help. After they finish (either via phone call or live online chat), they are asked if they'd like to fill out a survey. Many choose to do so, and as a result we get an email as soon as they click 'submit'.

Here's what we got this week:

April 25: "In all my years as an MLS Executive, I have never seen Brokers and Realtors so excited about a product. They can't wait for ShowingTime to be live!" Elaine H., KY

April 25: "Always courteous." Susan M., FL

April 23: "Great professional help." Karla F., CO

April 22: "I have been very pleased with the quick response." Therese M., MI

April 22: "As always, quick with response time." Ronnie G., NY

April 22: "Quick and easy!" Dennis H., NC

April 22: "The product looks great." Rosa Lea F., NJ

Short, sweet, and to the point. And it occurred right after the 'appointment'. In an agent's case, feedback survey responses could be "price too high" or "too close to road noise" or "basement smelled like mold". All valuable comments that could help the listing agent communicate better with the seller.

What It Means
Rather than making 80 calls to showing agents, you can simplify by using an automated tool to send them a quick feedback survey that gets delivered right to your email inbox. It's worth considering, as you think about the best, most financially productive way to spend your time.
