3. Carry on with what you were doing.

No calls, no phone tag, no delays. That's how quickly the 'blocking and tackling', a.k.a. the busywork, 'the administrative part' of showings can be completed in some real estate markets. That is, if you use an appointment center service or your Multiple Listing Service has an online scheduling system in place.

According to a recent National Association of REALTORS® survey, 94% of agents communicate with clients using a mobile device, spending a median 44% of their time corresponding with and doing work for their clients on mobile devices.

That number is likely to continue climbing. With more and more residential real estate agents using smartphones with wireless email and internet capabilities to conduct business, it makes sense that things they do every day - like requesting and confirming showings - would be easy to do on a mobile device.
